Updates March 17, 2026

The original launch was about looking up a building. This update is about monitoring one. A full dashboard with watchlist and activity feed — plus 26 data sources and HPD harassment findings now on every report.

Dashboard & Watchlist

  • Save any building to your watchlist — directly from the building page or from search results
  • Your dashboard shows all saved buildings with current grade, score, and last recorded activity
  • Grade changes are detected automatically — if a building improves or drops, your dashboard reflects it
  • Buildings can be added from search without opening the full building page

Activity Feed

  • New feed showing everything happening across all your watched buildings in one place
  • Events are grouped by building and color-coded by category — violations, complaints, inspections, legal, financial
  • "New since last visit" markers show exactly what changed since you last checked
  • Filter by severity to focus on the serious issues — hazardous violations, litigation, open complaints
  • Expandable events show full detail inline — violation class, apartment number, penalty amounts, hearing status

More Data

  • 26 public data sources now — up from 20 at launch
  • HPD harassment findings now surfaced on building reports — 317 buildings with confirmed tenant harassment are flagged with finding date and penalty amount
  • Harassment findings automatically elevate a building's litigation severity so grades reflect the full picture
  • 833,000 boiler registration records added — you can now see if your building's boiler is registered and inspected
  • Elevator inspection records, ACRIS real estate transactions, and HPD owner contact info added since launch
